Why was the Prophet's name, "Muhammad," mentioned in the Quran, while Jesus (peace be upon him) stated that the name of the Prophet who would come after him would be "Ahmad"?

The previous divine books came as heralds of Muhammad, peace be upon him. Allah Almighty mentioned in the Holy Quran that his name, description, and signs are written therein, as in His saying: "Those to whom We gave the Scripture know him as they know their own sons," and His saying: "Whom they find written with them in the Torah and the Gospel." Jesus, peace be upon him, also heralded a messenger who would come after him, whose name is Ahmad. The Prophet, peace be upon him, is mentioned in the divine books by the names "Muhammad" and "Ahmad." Both names denote praise and point to the perfection of his good qualities. He is Muhammad because he is worthy of praise, and Ahmad because he is more grateful to Allah. It is mentioned in the Sahihayn that among the names of the Prophet, peace be upon him, are "Muhammad" and "Ahmad." The Gospel of Barnabas and the books of Isaiah and Habakkuk mentioned the tidings of him, peace be upon him, by the names Muhammad and Ahmad, and by his descriptions that indicate his glory and esteem.
