How can I maintain the five daily prayers despite my limited knowledge of religious matters?

1 min readAlso available in العربية

Allah Almighty rejoices at the repentance of His servant. Al-Bukhari and Muslim narrated from Anas ibn Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Allah rejoices more over the repentance of His servant when he repents to Him than one of you who was on his camel in a desolate land, and it got away from him carrying his food and drink, so he despaired of it. He came to a tree and lay down in its shade, having despaired of his camel. While he was in that state, behold, it was standing right beside him. So he seized its rein, and then, out of extreme joy, he said: 'O Allah, You are my servant and I am Your Lord,' he erred due to extreme joy."

A Muslim should increase in acts of obedience such as fasting, Taraweeh prayers, reciting the Quran, and giving charity, which are among the reasons for the forgiveness of sins. One can also dedicate daily time to acquiring knowledge by reading booklets and listening to recorded lessons, and browsing answers related to essential rulings such as purity and prayer.
