What is the ruling on praying in rooms whose doors open onto the prayer area, given the presence of cold that affects some individuals?

It is not permissible for an able-bodied man to miss congregational prayers without an excuse. Scholars have differed on the permissibility of following an Imam with a barrier between him and the worshiper, but they have permitted it if there is a need.
