What is the ruling on preachers appearing on television programs, and how valid is the hesitation regarding the television image?

There is no doubt that some people are hesitant to be filmed for television broadcasts aimed at spreading knowledge. This varies depending on one's knowledge, understanding, insight, and foresight regarding the consequences. Whoever Allah expands his breast for it, he will be rewarded for it, and whoever does not feel comfortable with it, we hope he is excused. The greater interest in spreading the religion and guiding people to goodness overlooks what occurs from filming, as it is a partial harm that is subsumed by the greater benefit of conveying Allah's messages, teaching His law, and guiding people to good, so that the field is not left vacant for the people of falsehood.
