What should a young man do with his fiancée who insists on completing an internship in an office alone with a man, knowing that seclusion is forbidden, and she is unable to stop for fear of her father and out of a desire to complete her studies? Should he believe her promise that this will not be repeated? Should he be patient until she finishes her internship or should he look for another? And how should he deal with feelings of jealousy and anxiety about something bad happening?

If "spending time with" means the girl's continuous presence with the accountant, with the possibility of being alone with him, then she is not allowed to do so except out of necessity. She must be cautious and protect herself.

As for your marriage to her, if her continued employment is out of necessity, then you should not turn away from her as long as she is religious and modest. Dismiss any unfounded doubts. Betrothal is merely a promise that can be broken without a legitimate religious reason.

However, if her continued employment is not out of necessity, then this detracts from her religiosity. It is better to marry a religious woman, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Marry the religious woman, and may your hands be dusted with earth [i.e., may you prosper]."
