What is the definition of Salat al-Awwabin and what is its legal basis?

Salat al-Awwabin is Salat al-Duha, and it was named thus because it occurs when young camels' hooves are scorched, meaning when the heat of the earth intensifies and burns the soles of the small camels. It has been explained that at this time, the soul inclines towards rest, so diverting it towards obedience is considered a return to Allah's pleasure. It is a recommended Sunnah.
