Is a girl entitled to strive to achieve her dreams, and why do most men or society reject that?

A woman has the right to strive to achieve her ambitions and dreams, as long as it is not forbidden by Islamic law or leads to something forbidden, while adhering to the Shariah guidelines in her actions and dealings. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, permitted Jabir's maternal aunt, may Allah be pleased with them both, to harvest her date palms after her divorce, saying: "Yes, harvest your date palms, for you may give charity or do a good deed." Society may prevent a woman from striving out of compassion for her due to the risks surrounding her endeavors, and she should acknowledge their kindness in that. The general principle is that a woman should remain in her home and should not toil unless there is a necessity.
