Is it permissible to return to a foreign country (Canada) for a dignified life and to preserve one's religion, given the decline in religious devotion in the home country due to a scarcity of good companions, the inability to marry for financial reasons, and what one encounters in Western countries such as hearing insults against religion and God and music?

It is permissible for a Muslim to travel to non-Muslim countries for work or other permissible matters if he is secure from temptation and is able to practice the rituals of his religion. However, it is not advisable to do so unless there is a necessity or a legitimate need recognized by Islamic law. It is preferable to remain in Muslim countries where much good is found. As for corruption, it is manifold in non-Muslim countries, and disapproval should be by the heart if one cannot use their hand or tongue. One should hasten to marry, for in it there is much good, chastity for the soul, and protection from temptations. It is also a cause for sustenance.
