You should improve your treatment of your wife with kindness, following the example of the Messenger of Allah. If you adopt this approach, you might not need to visit a doctor. It is not permissible for the wife to reveal the secrets of marital life to a doctor except to the extent of need. It is also not permissible for her to go to a male doctor if a female doctor is available. If she does go to him, her husband, a mahram, or a trustworthy, reliable woman must accompany her.
