Is it permissible to use phrases such as "my friend Allah" or "my dear Allah" when addressing Allah Almighty, or does that exceed the bounds of proper etiquette?

One must observe proper etiquette when addressing Allah Almighty and supplicating to Him by His Most Beautiful Names and Exalted Attributes. One should not use terms typically used for addressing created beings, such as "My friend Allah" or "My dear Allah," for Allah's status is far too sublime for that. Whoever does this has not estimated Allah His true estimate. A created being does not address a great human with such words, so how then can one address the Creator of the heavens and the earth, to Whom nothing is comparable? Allah Almighty has commanded us to supplicate to Him by His Most Beautiful Names and has warned us against deviating from the right conduct concerning them.
