Was rejection or acceptance the correct action for a job interview at a café that serves alcohol?

You did well by refusing to meet the woman in a place where alcohol is sold. A Muslim is prohibited from sitting in places of evil deeds, based on the Almighty's saying: "And He has already revealed to you in the Book that when you hear the verses of Allah being denied and ridiculed, then do not sit with them until they enter into another conversation. Indeed, you would then be like them." And based on the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, let him not sit at a table where wine is circulated." Know that sustenance is predetermined, and whoever gives up something for the sake of Allah, Allah will compensate him with something better.
