Am I permitted to kill my husband who is cheating on me with men, and to take revenge on him by exposing his practices to his family and at his workplace? And is what happened to me considered a trial from Allah? And what should I do about it?

The wife mentioned her husband's transgressions, the most severe of which is his negligence in prayer. Prayer is the connection between the servant and his Lord, and whoever neglects it is more negligent in other matters. As for him committing indecencies and abominations, such as sodomy, for which Allah punished a nation—whoever is afflicted with this does not give his wife her due rights in bed, for the punishment is of the same kind as the deed. It is not permissible for the wife to allow him to engage in anal intercourse. The husband must have sexual intercourse with his wife according to her desire and his ability. Her maintenance is obligatory upon him, and she has the right to take from his money the amount of her maintenance and that of her child with the judge's permission. It is recommended for a woman, if her husband abandons the rights of Allah, to seek khul' from him. This is a trial from Allah, and the way to deal with it is patience. One must supplicate for him, not against him, for true hope leads to repentance, seeking acts of obedience, and abandoning sins. When afflicted with trials, one often increases in devotion and remembrance. It is not permissible to kill the husband, because the implementation of hudud (punishments) belongs to the ruler, not to the general populace. It is obligatory to conceal the transgressor if he does not openly commit the sin.
