What is the ruling on a mother telling her daughter, when she makes a mistake: "You will enter Hellfire" or "You will incur sins"? Is she permitted to make such a determination, and what advice can be offered to this mother?

We advise the daughter to obey her mother in what is good and to beware of disobeying her, for the mother's right is great, and being dutiful to her is among the most obligatory duties, while disobeying her is among the greatest major sins.
