ما معنى اسم لينة؟

The name "leenah" in the Arabic language refers to the palm tree, and from this comes the saying of Allah the Almighty: "Whatever you have cut down of [their] palm trees or left standing on their trunks – it was by permission of Allah and so that He might disgrace the defiantly disobedient" (Al-Hashr:5). And it was said that it is a specific type of palm tree, excluding the 'ajwah.
