What is the wisdom behind the tribulation of the Antichrist (Al-Masih Ad-Dajjal), what is the recompense for one who disbelieves in him compared to one who remains steadfast in their faith, and will the repentance of one who is tempted by him be accepted, even if for a moment?

The emergence of the Antichrist (Dajjal) is a great tribulation that distinguishes the true believer. Whoever follows him and dies upon that will be among the people of Hellfire. Repentance is accepted from whoever repents, turns to Allah, and is sincere in their faith, as long as the sun has not risen from its west. This is because the sun rising from its west renders repentance unacceptable. This sign occurs after the emergence of the Dajjal, and it is the first of the major, unusual signs. Therefore, the statement that repentance is not accepted upon the appearance of any of the major signs of the Hour is incorrect; rather, this applies specifically to the sun rising from its west.
