You must supplicate for your parents' guidance and righteousness, invite them to good with an appropriate approach, and be a good example for them. If your mother uses the television to watch forbidden things, you are not permitted to repair it for her. Similarly, if she visits her friends to engage in forbidden acts, it is not permissible to assist her, for "there is no obedience in disobedience to Allah." However, you should deal with her gently to avoid angering her. But if her visits to her friends are devoid of any intention of engaging in forbidden acts, there is no harm in assisting her, and you are not obligated to investigate her intention, as we are accountable for what is apparent.
