Is it true that women are required to wear the hijab in gatherings of remembrance (dhikr) out of shyness on the part of the angels towards them? And what is the ruling on this statement?

In gatherings of women, especially circles of dhikr (remembrance of Allah) and Quran recitation, a woman should be modest in her dress and refined in her speech. There is no religious sanction for her to wear a hijab (veil) on the pretext of angels seeing her, as there is no proof for this, and angels see women in all their states. Sheikh Ibn Baz, may Allah have mercy on him, was asked whether angels do not attend women's dhikr gatherings if the women have their heads uncovered. He replied: "I am not aware of any basis for this. They may recite and remember Allah Almighty, even if their heads are uncovered, provided there are no non-mahram men present, and this does not prevent the angels from entering." It is recommended for theader of the Quran, outside of prayer, to face the Qibla and sit with tranquility, dignity, and humility.
