Is it permissible for the intermediary to take the cost of travel tickets or an additional amount on top of them, given that he coordinated between the job seeker and the employer?

The intermediary's act of taking the price of the worker's tickets for himself and refusing to pay them to the worker is considered consuming wealth unlawfully (eating wealth by falsehood), because this money is not the intermediary's right. Rather, it is a cost paid by the office for the worker's travel procedures, and the intermediary here is an agent for the office in delivering the money to the worker. If the intermediary agrees with the worker on a known wage in exchange for finding work, then he is only entitled to his wage. As for the price of the tickets, he has no right to them. The intermediary must adhere to Islamic regulations, such as his wage being known and the work being permissible according to Islamic law.
