Is it permissible to continue listening to a specific reciter of the Qur’an, despite feeling admiration towards him, after an attempt to change him negatively affected one's listening to the Qur’an?

The basic principle is that it is permissible for a woman to listen to a man's recitation, as long as it does not lead to pleasure, because jurists have mentioned prohibiting a woman from listening to the voice of a non-mahram man, just as a man is prohibited from listening to the voice of a non-mahram woman. They based this on what Imam Ahmad (may Allah have mercy on him) said in the narration of Muhanna, and on the hadith of Anjasha: "Gently, O Anjasha, do not break the vessels [meaning women]," and it was said regarding its meaning that the Prophet (peace be upon him) feared temptation for women from listening to songs.
