What is the authenticity of the mentioned Hadith and the ruling on disseminating it: "If a servant raises his hands to the heavens while he is disobedient and says: 'O Lord!', the angels block his voice. He repeats it, 'O Lord!', and the angels block his voice. He repeats it, 'O Lord!', and the angels block his voice. When he repeats it a fourth time, Allah Almighty says: 'How long will you block the voice of My servant from Me? Here I am, My servant! Here I am, My servant! Here I am, My servant! Here I am, My servant!'"?

No authentic hadith exists stating that angels screen a servant's voice from Allah, for Allah knows the secret and what is even more hidden, and nothing is concealed from Him. This hadith is rejected both in its chain of narration (sanad) and its text (matn). It was mentioned by Al-Ghazali and Abu Talib Al-Makki, citing Muhammad ibn Sa'b, an unknown narrator, and both of them were lenient in quoting weak narrations. As for supplicating to Allah using His attributes of Lordship (Rububiyah), it is beloved to Allah, and many Quranic supplications begin with "Our Lord" (Rabbana), such as the saying of the believers: "Our Lord, You did not create this in vain; exalted are You [above such a thing]; then protect us from the punishment of the Fire" (Quran 3:191) to the end of the verses.
