What are the limits of the face in Wudu (ablution), and what is the relation of hair and beard to that, and what specifically concerns women?

The limit of the face in ablution (Wudu') is, lengthwise, from the curve of the forehead (the usual hairline) down to the bottom of the chin, and widthwise, from earlobe to earlobe. The chin and the hair growing adjacent to the tragus (al-idhar) are included in the face. However, the sideburns (al-sudgh — the hair parallel to the top of the ear), the hair extending towards the temples (al-tahdhif), and the two bald spots on the temples (an-nazatan) are not included, as all of them are part of the head.
