How can we reconcile Jābir's narration that the first revelation of the Qur’an was "O you wrapped in garments" (Sūrat al-Muddaththir), with ʿĀʾishah's narration that the first revelation was "Recite in the name of your Lord who created" (Sūrat al-ʿAlaq)?

The madhhab of the majority of scholars, including Ibn al-Qayyim and Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah, favors that the first thing revealed from the Qur'an was "Recite in the name of your Lord who created," basing this on the hadith of Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her. As for what Jabir, may Allah be pleased with him, narrated that the first thing revealed was "O you who wraps himself [in clothing]," this was his ijtihad and not an explicit narration from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. Furthermore, Jabir's own hadith indicates that the descent of the angel occurred before the revelation of "Al-Muddaththir." Moreover, "Iqra'" (Recite) was an command for reading and prophethood, while "Al-Muddaththir" (The Enwrapped One) was a command for warning and conveying the message.
