What is the way to stop shouting at children, and is this action considered a sin?

A woman should not raise her voice without need, especially if her husband dislikes it. Dealing with children's behavior with anger can do more harm than good and may lead to their indifference or dislike of her.

The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, was forbearing in dealing with children. Utilizing the situation to guide children to what is right is better than anger, for it instills guidance in their souls. Merely raising one's voice does not entail sin, Allah willing.
