Does divorce occur when the husband says: "If you go down, you are divorced, and you will not go to work tomorrow," and "By divorce, you will not take my son – these are two divorces, and you have one left," and then the wife goes down? And can the husband take his wife back after two days without her knowledge?

The wife erred by leaving the house without her husband's permission, as it is not permissible for a wife to leave without her husband's permission, and obedience to him is obligatory. The husband's cursing and hitting his wife is bad behavior, and his swearing by divorce is reprehensible and may lead to divorce.

If the husband intended divorce when the wife left the house, then the divorce has occurred. If he had divorced her twice before, this is the third divorce, and she is not lawful for him until she marries another husband.

If this is the first divorce, he may take her back as long as she is within her waiting period ('iddah) without her knowledge being a condition, and it is recommended to have witnesses for the return. The wife's consent is not a condition for the return.

The husband is not obligated to come and pick up his wife from her family's house because she left without his permission. She must return unless there is harm in doing so. An arbiter from his family and an arbiter from her family should mediate between the spouses for reconciliation or for divorce if reconciliation is impossible.
