How can the son rectify the broken situation of his family, represented by his mother owning a cabaret and having a relationship with another man, and his father committing adultery with women the mother brings to the house, and is the son's prayer valid given his religious commitment?

His prayer is valid as long as it fulfills the conditions and pillars [of prayer]. Prayer will assist him in these circumstances, for Allah the Almighty says: "O you who have believed, seek help through patience and prayer. Indeed, Allah is with the patient." He should strive to learn the sciences of Islamic law, choose righteous companionship, connect his heart with the mosques and gatherings of knowledge and remembrance, seek Allah's help, and frequently supplicate to Him.
