What are the verses in the Qur’an that speak about extravagance or those who squander wealth?

The Holy Quran spoke about money and its importance, commanded its preservation, and forbade extravagance and squandering. Among the verses that prohibit extravagance are the Almighty's sayings: "And do not make your hand shackled to your neck, nor extend it completely, lest you sit criticized and regretful," and "And do not squander wastefully. Indeed, squanderers are brothers of the devils," and "And those who, when they spend, do not transgress and do not stint, but are ever between that [in moderation]." It also urged the preservation of money in the verse of debt, as in the Almighty's saying: "O you who have believed, when you contract a debt for a specified term, write it down." Squandering is spending something on what is permissible but to an excessive degree, while foolishness is spending something on what is impermissible.
