Is it forbidden to supplicate for one's son to become a scholar like Sheikh Al-Shaarawi?

It is permissible for a father to supplicate for his son, asking Allah to make him a prominent figure among Muslims and one of the working scholars. This is not considered an transgression in supplication, which is forbidden. Indeed, Ibrahim asked his Lord for righteous offspring, and Allah blessed him with sons whom He made prophets.
