Is a mother considered sinful for supplicating against her disobedient 17-year-old son who insists on smoking, skipping school, and refusing to study, which prompts her to supplicate against him and then regret it, fearing Allah's response to her supplication?

The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, forbade supplicating against children, wealth, servants, and oneself, for fear of coinciding with a moment of answered prayers. This prohibition is for the purpose of impermissibility. The Permanent Committee was asked about a woman who supplicated against her son and he died. They answered that she must seek forgiveness and refrain from repeating such an act, and that there is no expiation or blood money upon her. Supplicating with evil and hastening it is forbidden, and it is better to supplicate for one's children for guidance and righteousness, for the supplication of a parent for their child is answered.
