What acts of worship were obligatory before the Isra and Mi'raj?

Scholars have unanimously agreed that the five daily prayers were mandated on the night of the Isra' (Night Journey). However, the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and his companions used to pray before that, as they were commanded to perform the night vigil (Qiyam al-Layl) in Surat Al-Muzzammil. The details of that prayer differed from what was established after the Isra'. Some said that it initially consisted of two rak'ahs in the morning and two rak'ahs in the evening, while others hold that it was an absolute command for prayer before the Isra'. The companions were also commanded to perform other acts of worship such as fasting, zakat, truthfulness, chastity, and maintaining kinship ties, even if their details differed from what was later established.
