What is the prayer for death or the prayer for a good end?

One should not pray for death due to harm that has befallen them. Rather, one should pray by saying: "O Allah, keep me alive as long as life is good for me, and cause me to die if death is better for me." As for the prayer for a good ending, it is: "O Allah, make good our end in all affairs, and protect us from the disgrace of this world and the torment of the Hereafter," and also: "O Allah, cause us to die as Muslims, and live as Muslims, and join us with the righteous, neither disgraced nor tempted."
