Is it permissible to pluck or use a razor to reshape the eyebrows if one of them is noticeably different and disfigured compared to the other?

Slight asymmetry between the eyebrows is not uncommon. However, if it reaches the point of disfigurement and becomes abnormal, then there is no harm in reducing this difference by taking the minimum amount necessary to remove the disfigurement, without resorting to plucking (namṣ) unless it is impossible to rectify the disfigurement by shaving or trimming with a razor. And one should not resort to a razor unless it is impossible to rectify it by shortening with scissors or by bleaching, because the matter falls under the category of need and necessity to remove congenital disfigurement, and not for the purpose of beautification and adornment.
