Is it permissible to remove hair with tweezers to neaten the eyebrows without changing their natural size?

If the scar left by a wound does not disfigure one's appearance, then removing it for cosmetic purposes and beautification is considered a forbidden form of namṣ (plucking). Sheikh Ibn Uthaymeen clarifies that plucking eyebrows is not permissible unless they are disfiguring. This is because eyebrows are either beautiful, in which case nothing needs to be done to them; or they are disfiguring, in which case they may be removed by means other than plucking, such as depilatories or trimming; or they are not disfiguring but have not reached the level of beauty, in which case it is not permissible to alter them.
