Is a wife obligated to obey her husband by going to work despite her illness and having a sick leave, due to his suspicion that she is feigning illness?

Firstly: If the woman's work is forbidden, for example, if it involves unlawful mixing, or forbidden sales or manufacturing, or if it is in the banking sector, then she must refrain from it and seek lawful employment. The husband is obligated to provide for her according to what is customary.

Secondly: If her work is permissible, but she is afflicted with an illness that causes her hardship, delays her recovery, or worsens her condition, then the husband is obligated to take this into consideration. It is not permissible for him to demand that she go to work while she is ill, in accordance with the Almighty's saying: (And live with them in kindness), and the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: (Treat women kindly). The husband should not doubt his wife's credibility, and their life together should be based on trust. If the husband is not convinced by the medical reports or the effects of the illness, then the wife should be gentle with him and treat him kindly.
