What is the ruling on the actions of Ahl al-Hadith who reject taqlid and fiqh?

Muslims and students of knowledge must embody noble character and excellent virtues, for these are the foundation of servitude to Allah. Sheikh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah considered noble character an essential part of the definition of Ahl al-Sunnah, for they call to noble character and prohibit its trivialities.

As for Ahl al-Hadith, Imam Al-Ramahurmuzi described them as the "egg of the religion" and the "minaret of proof," who preserved this religion for the Ummah by transmitting its laws and meticulously documenting its narrations and conditions.
