Who is the Companion Abdullah Dhul-Majabin?

The noble companion Abdullah ibn Abd Nahm al-Muzani was nicknamed "Dhu al-Bijadain" (the one with the two coarse garments) because when he desired to embrace Islam, his people prevented him. So he left them, and he had nothing on him but a thick cloak (bijad). He tore it into two halves, used one half as a lower garment (izar) and the other as an upper garment (rida'), then came to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him. Dhu al-Bijadain passed away during the Battle of Tabuk. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, entered his grave and said, "O Allah, I have become pleased with him, so be pleased with him."
