Is it permissible to write the Basmala with separate letters using rosewater, musk, and saffron for healing, or is that considered a violation of the sanctity of the Holy Qur’an?

The Basmala is a verse from the Book of Allah, and writing it disjointed disrupts its prescriptive orthography. This method might be among the practices of sorcerers and charlatans. There is no mention of repeating it or writing it a specific number of times, but there is nothing to prevent that. Scholars have differed regarding writing it with rosewater or saffron and drinking it: some, like Imam Ahmad, permitted it, while others prohibited it and sufficed with blowing (upon the afflicted). In conclusion, disjoining the Basmala or any other verses of Allah is impermissible. Seeking healing through the Book of Allah by recitation, blowing, or writing it with a pure substance and drinking it is permissible. One must avoid sorcerers and charlatans.
