What is the ruling on repeatedly having sexual intercourse with one's wife during the daytime in Ramadan, day after day?

If someone engages in intercourse multiple times on a single day, only one expiation (kaffarah) is required, because the fast of that day is invalidated by the first act of intercourse. Scholars have differed regarding someone who engages in intercourse repeatedly on different days without having offered expiation for the first instance. Some scholars hold that a single expiation suffices for all instances. However, others, and this is the more prevalent opinion, maintain that an expiation is obligatory for each day that was invalidated by intercourse. As for someone who has offered expiation for the first day and then engages in intercourse on another day, another expiation is required without dispute.
