Is it permissible for a husband to punish his wife by shunning her and not speaking to her for more than a month?

Allah has made it obligatory upon the spouses to live together in kindness. It is not permissible for a man to abandon his wife except for her defiance (nushuz), and abandonment in bed should only occur after admonition. The woman should reflect on her shortcomings towards her husband and rectify any deficiencies.
