If the husband intends by repeating the word of divorce an affirmation and does not intend to effect two divorces, then one divorce occurs. However, if he intends to effect two divorces or has no specific intention, then two divorces occur. The husband must obligate his wife to wear the legal , and he is not permitted to allow her to go out in immodest clothing. The wife must also obey her husband in what is good, and she has no choice in the matter of Allah.
