What are the daily glorifications (tasbihat) and seeking of forgiveness (istighfarat) for the acceptance of repentance, forgiveness, mercy, and elevation in the degrees of worship?

There is no specific glorification (tasbih) or seeking of forgiveness (istighfar) designated for the acceptance of repentance. What is prescribed is to perform two cycles of prayer, known as the prayer of repentance (Salat al-Tawbah), followed by seeking forgiveness using any wording. Ahmad and the compilers of the Sunan collections narrated from Ali, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "There is no servant who commits a sin, then purifies himself thoroughly, then stands and prays two cycles of prayer, then seeks Allah's forgiveness, except that Allah will forgive him." Then he recited the verse: {And those who, when they commit an immorality or wrong themselves, remember Allah and seek forgiveness for their sins — and who can forgive sins except Allah? — and [who] do not knowingly persist in what they have done.} (Quran 3:135)

Attaining Allah's mercy, drawing near to Him, and ascending in levels of worship are achieved by fulfilling obligations, refraining from prohibitions, and engaging extensively in remembrance (dhikr) and supererogatory acts (nawafil) such as prayer, fasting, charity, and benevolence towards creation. A servant draws closer to their Lord by performing the obligatory duties, and then the supererogatory acts, until Allah loves them. Then Allah will be with them in their hearing, sight, hand, and foot, and He will answer their supplications and grant them refuge.
