Why did the Prophet (peace be upon him) offer the funeral prayer for Hamza (may Allah be pleased with him) but not for the other Companions who were martyred in the Battle of Uhud?

It has not been established that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, prayed over the martyrs of Uhud. Rather, he commanded that they be buried with their blood, without washing or prayer. A hadith narrated by Uqbah ibn Amir states that the Prophet prayed over the martyrs of Uhud after eight years, describing it as "his prayer over the dead." Scholars have interpreted this to mean supplicating for them, not the well-known funeral prayer.
