Did Al-Hasan Al-Basri hear all the Hadiths he narrated from Abu Bakra, and are his Mu'an'an Hadiths in the Two Sahihs considered connected, along with information on whether Al-Hasan Al-Basri was a frequent perpetrator of Tadlis (deceptive narration)?

The hearing of Al-Hasan from Abu Bakrah is established among scholars because he explicitly stated his hearing in more than one hadith, such as his saying: "Abu Bakrah informed me from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him," and "I heard Abu Bakrah saying: 'I saw the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, on the minbar.'" What Al-Hasan narrates with the 'an' (on the authority of) in the two Sahihs is considered to have a connected chain of transmission. Al-Hasan was a mudallis (one who conceals defects in a chain of narration), so his saying "on the authority of" is not used as proof regarding those whom he did not meet, and he might conceal from those whom he did meet. However, he was a hafiz (memorizer of hadith), a great scholar, and a jurist by nature.
