Is it permissible for the wife to go to her family's home every day and stay there overnight during the annual holiday, or is she obligated to obey her husband by staying in his family's home and only visiting?

It is advisable to adhere to the husband's requests, as there is good and virtue in it. Obeying the husband is obeying the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and a path to entering Paradise, as stated in the Hadith: "If a woman prays her five [prayers], fasts her month [Ramadan], guards her chastity, and obeys her husband, it will be said to her: 'Enter Paradise from any of its gates you wish.'" This also leads to avoiding disputes, preserving marital happiness, and repelling the path of Satan. It is possible to calmly discuss with the husband and divide the time among the families. The husband should also be kind to his family, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The best among you is he who is best to his family, and I am the best among you to my family."
