Is the deterioration of society connected to Allah's saying: "O you who have believed, upon you is [the responsibility for] yourselves. Those who have erred will not harm you when you have been guided"? And what is the Muslim's duty towards his family, his society, his country, and his nation?

It is true that the conditions of Muslims are deteriorating, they are far from their religion, and their enemies have dominance over them. However, a Muslim's duty is to enjoin good and forbid evil and to strive for change and reform, not to abandon people. Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq, may Allah be pleased with him, pointed out that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Indeed, if people see an oppressor and do not restrain him, Allah will soon encompass them all with punishment from Him." A Muslim's duty towards their family and society is reform, and to be a reformer, not just a righteous person. In the story of the People of the Sabbath, Allah saved those who forbade evil. A Muslim will still find helpers for good, so let each of us strive to reform ourselves and our families and remind others of their religion.
