Is a husband considered to be unjust to his wife if he divorces her due to her failure to satisfy his sexual desires, her shortcomings in fulfilling his marital rights such as adorning herself and preparing food, and her refusal to allow him to marry another woman who prevents him from procreating?

The Wise Lawgiver has established rights for each spouse over the other and has urged their fulfillment. Among the rights of the husband over his wife is good companionship, which includes adornment.

Some scholars have said: It is obligatory for a woman to maintain modesty before her husband, lower her gaze in front of him, obey his commands, remain silent when he speaks, stand when he enters and exits, offer herself to him at bedtime, maintain a pleasant scent for him, regularly clean her mouth with a miswak and perfume, and constantly adorn herself in his presence while refraining from it in his absence.

If the wife is negligent in these rights, she must repent. The husband should continue to advise her. If she becomes upright, then that is well and good. But if she insists on persistence [in negligence], then there is no harm in divorcing her due to her bad character, and there is no injustice to her in that.

As for your desire to marry another woman, there is no harm for you in that, provided you are capable of fulfilling the rights of the wives.
