Is divorcing one's wife considered a grave injustice to her, even while providing all that she and their son need to live a dignified life, all for the desire to marry another with whom he finds happiness?

If you do not feel happy with your wife, it is permissible for you to divorce her, provided you fulfill her rights, as divorce is permissible when there is a need for it. However, do not rush into divorce, and if you need to marry another woman, you may do so, provided you deal justly between them.

Know that lowering one's gaze from unlawful things helps a husband be content with his wife, whereas unleashing one's gaze makes a husband lose interest in her and opens the door for Satan. Live with your wife honorably, be patient, overlook some shortcomings, and remember the saying of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him: "No believing man should hate a believing woman; if he dislikes one of her characteristics, he will be pleased with another."

Affection is not a condition for the stability of married life, as many homes are built on good companionship, not love alone. A person might be deceived by the beauty of another woman, and if he marries her, he might find flaws in her that he did not expect, leading him to tire of her and seek another.
