Is it necessary to divorce one's wife due to the absence of happiness and comfort in the marriage, even though the wife does not fall short in fulfilling the rights of her Lord and her husband, and out of fear of not fully granting her legitimate rights due to the husband's lack of love for her?

A husband is advised to keep his righteous wife and not divorce her, and not to succumb to delusions and whispers that make him disdain her under the pretext of a lack of emotional love, because she is a blessing worthy of gratitude. The husband's adherence to the limits of Allah and lowering his gaze from what is forbidden are reasons for being content with his wife, while letting his gaze roam freely among forbidden things makes him disdain her and opens the door for Satan. Allah Almighty says: {And live with them honorably. If you dislike them, it may be that you dislike a thing and Allah brings through it much good.} And the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "No believing man should hate a believing woman; if he dislikes one of her characteristics, he will be pleased with another." If these counsels are not effective and the husband remains averse to his wife, then there is no blame upon him for divorcing her.
