Does my mother's purchase of expensive clothes, priced at up to 3,000 UAE dirhams, count as extravagance? And what is the ruling on buying a wedding dress and wearing it again?

It is stated in the Hadith: "Eat, drink, dress, and give charity, without extravagance or pride." Extravagance is exceeding the limit, such as gluttony in harmful foods, or excessive indulgence in luxury, or transgressing from the lawful to the unlawful. And because Allah Almighty has favored some people in provision, what is considered extravagance for one person may not be so for another, as expenditures differ according to social classes and provisions. Buying clothes at an exorbitant price cannot be definitively deemed extravagance, and similarly, a wedding dress can be utilized by selling or renting it out.
