Which is the correct way to write the name "Ibn Taymiyyah": with a bound ta marbutah (ة) or with a bound ha (ه), and when is each of them written, and does this name apply to both males and females or only to males?

Al-Dhahabi mentioned that the name of Sheikh al-Islam is Ahmad, and a newborn can be named this with the intention of naming him after the Prophet, peace be upon him. As for "Taymiyyah," its taa' (ت) is always tied (ة), not an open taa' (ت) or haa' (ه), and it might be written without dots due to an oversight. Al-Shawkani mentioned that "Taymiyyah" was a لقب (nickname) for Sheikh al-Islam's grandfather because he saw a young girl in Tayma during his Hajj pilgrimage and, when his wife gave birth to a daughter, he said to her, "Ya Taymiyyah." Alternatively, it is said that it was a nickname for his grandfather's mother.
