Were there messengers or prophets sent between Prophet Jesus (peace be upon him) and Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him)?

There was no prophet or messenger between the Prophet, peace be upon him, and Jesus, peace be upon him, as the Prophet, peace be upon him, said: "I am the closest of people to the son of Mary, and the prophets are paternal half-brothers, and there was no prophet between me and him." This refutes anyone who claims that a prophet was sent after Jesus.
